Blackfoot competition hit and it hit hard

Nate M from Utah royell to backflip (sick!)

We never expected such a huge turn out this weekend! Over 40+ rollers showed up to compete! Kids from all over Idaho and Utah showed up. We had every division for the comp. Beginner, Girls, intermediate, advanced and even a Pro division! A lot of Pros that were coming fell through, like Grob, Card, and Erik Baily That didnt stop the competition from getting out of hand! Everyone was lacing theyre tricks and letting it all go! Jam session style gave everyone a chance to lay down there best tricks. Media coverage from all over the state came to film and interview everyone. All the kids had a chance to receive a prize or trophy! The competition started out with a hit! Three girls competed in the first rollerblading competition in Idaho! They were stoked and so were the guys! Crystal took first place. Placing her self well ahead of the others.

We soon had a beginners division. These kids were going crazy, having the older bladers to look up to. They gave it their all and gave the rest of us encouragement! Next we had the intermediate division compete!

We broke the skaters up in to two groups and had Jam sessions on three spots. The kids ripped that park to shreds! This skate park will never be the same. They were catching huge air, spinning hurricanes into grinds and busting misty flips in the half pipe! Showing the pros that they might have competition in the near future. The last two divisions consisted of advanced and pro bladers. It may of seemed they were the same in there skating to the normal bladers eye but the crowds knew better! These two divisions gave it their all and earned the respect they deserve! Over all the competition was a huge success for everyone! These kids got to compete in something that will help continue them in the ongoing progression of the sport they love and will keep them motivated throughout their lives. This is only the beginning to a new future for the Idaho, Utah and rollerbladers in the surrounding areas!
We invite you to come join the Idaho Utah Inline Circuit for IUIC is the future of blading!
