Education: Master in anthropology (he also teaches this at the university), he has several degrees; among others one in Psychology.

Special skills: Shaman in Jim's Peru tribe who also taught Jim how to use his powers. Jim's Guide. Sandbrug has traveled a lot in the jungle and speaks many Native languages; he also speaks Russian and other languages close to it. Sandburg is currently working on his Ph.D. on sentinels and that is how he and Ellison first met.
