Dear Colleagues,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of Immunological Days in Pleven 2004, we would like to kindly invite you to attend the 2nd International Workshop on Immunological Aspects of Infertility, to be held in Pleven, from 20 to 23 May, 2004.
Reproductive immunology has been extensively developed during the last 20 years and important mechanisms of the normal and pathological pregnancy were revealed. This is why we decided to organize an Immunological School for obstetricians and gynecologists to be held before the workshop. Eminent specialists - immunologists will deliver short, simple, adapted lectures in basic and reproductive immunology with a practical meaning.
We strongly believe that the current obstetrician practice would be signaficantly limited without the knowlidge and advances of the immunological science. Our aim is by Immunological Days in Pleven 2004 to help for the co-operation bewteen immunologists and obstetricians in their routine work with patients.
We look forward to welcoming you in Pleven in May 2004.

Preliminary topics of the Workshop:
Doctor Honoris Causa Ceremony
The Workshop will be officially opened with a Doctor Honoris Causa Lecture and Ceremony. The nominee is Prof. Yehuda Shoenfeld, Israel.
Title of the lecture:"Atherosclerosis disease - after all an autoimmune disease."
Language:
The official language of the Workshop will be English. Simultaneous translation into Bulgarian language will be provided.

Certificate of Attendance
During the Spring Immunological School for Obstetricians and the Workshop a Certificate of Attendance will be provided to all participants upon request at the registration desk.
Abstract publication
Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the following issue of the international journal Clinical Application of Immunology. Invited speakers, as well as authors of up to three selected oral presentations will be asked to submit their manuscripts to be peer reviewed for publication in the same issue.
